The Bengali Language, is an eastern Indo-Aryan Language. It is native to the region of eastern South Asia known as Bengal, which comprises present day Bangladesh, the Indian state of West Bengal, and parts of the Indian states of Tripura and Assam. Having over 230 million Bengali speakers worldwide, it is in the top 10 spoken languages of the world, and has contributed a lot too India, as the National Song, as well as the National Anthem were composed in Bengali.
Bengali binds together a truly unique, diverse and beautiful culture which has made large contributions towards the Bengali Language movement. The Bengali language has truly influenced great literary works and a lot of amazing poems, stories and myths have originated from this language.
