Math Myth: If you don't get the exact answer, you are a failure

Although this maybe the case in the very early foundation years of mathematics, it should be realized that as you grow older and older the answers need to be approximately correct. Teachers tend to look out for the methods, procedures and thought processes rather than just the final answer itself. Therefore, we advise you not to get discouraged if the answers are not exact, since in further studies approximate answers are considered.
