Every kid loves to enact someone else or act in a particular manner like he hasn't before, and participation in drama's in school as well as in classes are the way they can fulfill their fantasy of acting. There are a lot of advantages for children who take up acting or drama as a hobby, these are:
1) It helps your child develop the Four C's, which are, confidence, concentration, coordination and communication which are highly essential skills required all throughout your life.
2) Allows children to develop good vocabulary skills, as they get to learn new words as well as learn how to pronounce them correctly.
3) Helps in developing a child's reading skills, as they must read scripts, learn them and then enact them, thereby enhancing reading skills.
4) It helps children learn how to co-operate with each other, as plays, skits and films are team-work and not an individuals efforts alone. Learning how to work with others is one of the most important lessons you must learn in life, and it is much better if you learn it when you are young.
5) Acting also enhances the emotional intelligence in children, as, by encouraging children to 'act out' a range of emotions, children are better able to understand their emotions and develop empathy with others.
6) And finally, acting is a lot of fun, where you make tons of friends and have an amazing time!!
